Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated when you use our services, and technical information needed to operate and protect Wire MCP. The information depends on the feature or service you use.

• Account information: name, email address, account identifiers and authentication-related records.
• Download-form information: name, email address, selected country, how you heard about Wire MCP, Terms acceptance, and your optional email-consent choice.
• Billing information: name, email address, country and, where required, billing State and other information needed for the transaction. Records from earlier purchases or support requests may contain additional details you previously supplied.
• Order and payment information: purchased product, currency, amounts, taxes, discounts, payment provider, transaction references, payment status, refunds, subscription details and renewal records.
• License and site information: license identifiers, purchased rights, site limits, website addresses, activation records, status checks and relevant plugin-version information.
• Free-action information: verified site registration, action identifiers, usage balances, reservation and execution states, timestamps and verification evidence needed to account for supported actions.
• Email preferences: consent and confirmation records, subscription status, unsubscribe requests, delivery status, and bounce or complaint information.
• Support information: messages, screenshots, error details and other information you choose to provide.
• Technical information: IP addresses, browser information, request logs, security events and operational diagnostics.

How we use your information

• Create and manage accounts, downloads and support requests.
• Process purchases, renewals, subscription changes and refunds.
• Issue and validate licenses, verify site ownership and apply purchased site limits.
• Provide the Free allowance, verify action outcomes, prevent duplicate charges and recover existing usage records.
• Deliver secure plugin downloads and check for available updates.
• Send necessary account, payment, license, security and service communications.
• Send optional plugin-update announcements, helpful tips and offers according to your confirmed preferences.
• Understand referral sources and improve our documentation, products and customer experience.
• Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access and abuse of downloads or allowances.
• Maintain reliable services and comply with applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Depending on applicable law and the activity, processing may be necessary to provide a requested service, perform our agreement with you, comply with a legal obligation, pursue legitimate operational and security interests, or act on your consent.

Orders, billing and payments

Our store uses WooCommerce. Payments are handled by the provider available for your selected checkout, including Stripe, PayPal or Razorpay. These providers process payment credentials under their own terms and privacy policies.

We receive transaction information needed to confirm payment, associate the order with the correct account, issue or renew access, investigate problems and process refunds. This can include provider order or capture identifiers, payment status, amounts, currency, timestamps and payer information supplied by the provider.

Your payment-provider email may differ from your Wire MCP account or billing email. Payer information is payment metadata and does not, by itself, establish ownership of a different Wire MCP account.

We do not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on our systems. Provider transaction references and supported payment-method identifiers may be retained for payment processing, subscriptions and account administration.

Licensing, activations and plugin updates

The plugin communicates with Wire MCP services to verify licenses, determine available features and site limits, and provide supported update and download functionality.

• License identity, status and purchased entitlements.
• The website associated with an activation and relevant installation details.
• Activation, deactivation and status-check timestamps.
• Plugin version, release channel and update-request information.
• Security information necessary to authenticate requests and protect downloads.

Checking for a plugin update is separate from subscribing to release emails. Declining or unsubscribing from optional emails does not change your purchased license rights or eligible download access.

Free actions and verified site registration

Wire MCP Free includes a lifetime allowance of 10 supported actions that change your website. The supported plugin automatically sets up or recovers a verified site registration when the Free setup process runs. This service requires communication with the Wire MCP backend.

To provide this allowance, we process the website address, proof of site control, a stable registration identity, authentication records, and usage information. Relevant usage data includes the requested ability, operation and target identifiers, timestamps, reserved or spent actions, and execution or reconciliation status.

Supported operations may require authenticated website readbacks and verification receipts. These can involve relevant page, media, configuration or other resource state needed to verify the requested change, together with evidence hashes and outcome records.

• Read-only inspection and discovery do not spend Free actions.
• Verified successful changes consume allowance; verified no-change outcomes do not.
• An uncertain outcome may remain reserved while it is investigated or reconciled.
• Reinstalling the plugin does not automatically reset the site's recorded lifetime allowance.

AI connections and website data

Wire MCP connects a supported AI client, such as Claude, to your WordPress website. After you authorize a connection, the client can request supported tools within the permissions available to it.

Tool responses may include website information relevant to your request, such as page content, Elementor layouts, media information, website settings or WooCommerce data where the requested workflow permits access. That information is transmitted to the connected AI client. Website changes are stored on your WordPress installation.

Your prompts, uploaded files, conversations and information returned to the AI client are also subject to that provider's privacy policy and your account settings. Wire MCP does not control the provider's retention, training or other data-use settings.

Our own services process the information required for licensing, Free-action verification, supported hosted functionality, security and troubleshooting. The information involved depends on the particular workflow.

Downloads and email preferences

Our download form requests your name, email address, country and referral source. Acceptance of our Terms is required. The separate option to receive plugin updates, helpful tips and offers is optional and is not selected by default.

If you select email consent, the current download flow asks you to confirm that preference by email. After confirmation, your subscription information is automatically synchronized with our email-delivery provider and release-notification system.

• You can download without opting in to optional emails.
• A failure to synchronize an email preference does not, by itself, block the download.
• A confirmed subscriber can receive eligible public Stable release announcements without purchasing a license or activating a website.
• Existing unsubscribe, bounce and complaint restrictions are respected. A download alone does not override those restrictions.

We use Resend for email delivery and subscriber management. Relevant data may include your email address, name where supplied, consent status, contact identifiers and delivery or suppression events.

Optional emails include an unsubscribe mechanism. Use the link and complete the displayed confirmation, or contact us for help. Unsubscribing from release emails does not revoke your license, remove download access or prevent necessary transactional messages.

Cookies, local storage and embedded content

Our website uses cookies, sessions and similar technologies for sign-in, cart and checkout state, security and preferences. Browser storage may also be used by particular interface features.

Where optional analytics or marketing technologies are used, their operation is subject to the applicable consent requirements and choices available through our cookie controls. Browser settings can also limit cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect account or checkout functionality.

Some pages contain YouTube tutorials or other third-party content. A click-to-load video delays loading the video player until you interact with it. A remotely hosted thumbnail may still contact the image provider before playback and disclose technical information, such as your IP address.

Playing a video or following an external link connects you to that provider. Its own privacy policy and technology settings then apply. A privacy-enhanced embed does not mean that no data is transmitted.

Third-party services and service providers

We use providers to operate our website and services. Depending on the service, they process information on our behalf or under their own responsibilities and privacy policies.

• Hostinger: hosting infrastructure for our website and related services.
• Cloudflare: DNS, network delivery and security services, depending on the domain configuration.
• Supabase: database, authentication and storage services supporting the licensing platform.
• Resend: transactional and optional email delivery, subscriber synchronization and suppression management.
• Stripe, PayPal and Razorpay: payment processing and relevant transaction verification for the selected payment method.
• Anthropic / Claude or another connected AI provider: the AI service you choose and authorize to interact with your website.
• Google / YouTube: tutorial thumbnails and video playback where embedded on our pages.

WordPress and WooCommerce also form part of our website and store software. Using that software does not necessarily mean every record is sent to its software publisher.

We limit provider access to information needed for the relevant purpose. Providers and integrations may change as the service evolves; material changes to our data practices will be reflected in this policy.

When we may share information

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers. We may share information:

• With providers supporting the services described in this policy.
• With a connected AI client when you authorize website access and request supported tools.
• With payment providers to process or verify purchases, renewals, disputes and refunds.
• When required by applicable law or a valid legal request.
• To investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents or misuse of our services.
• As part of a business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements.
• When you otherwise direct or authorize us to do so.

Data retention

Retention depends on the type of information, the service provided, and applicable obligations. We consider whether information remains necessary to provide access, support existing purchases, maintain security, resolve disputes or comply with legal requirements.

• Account and license records: retained as needed to administer access, purchased rights, support and related obligations.
• Payment and tax records: retained for applicable accounting, tax, dispute and legal purposes.
• Free registration and usage history: retained as needed to administer the lifetime allowance, prevent repeated allocation and resolve pending or disputed operations.
• Consent and suppression records: retained as needed to demonstrate preferences and avoid sending messages after an unsubscribe, bounce or complaint.
• Support and technical records: retained according to their troubleshooting, security and operational purpose.
• Backups: information may remain in protected backups until those copies are replaced or removed through the applicable backup process.

Uninstalling the plugin or unsubscribing from emails does not automatically delete backend transaction, license, consent or usage records. You can request deletion or further information about retention through our contact channel. We assess requests against applicable rights and retention obligations.

How we protect your information

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and misuse.

• HTTPS for supported service communications.
• Authentication and access controls for protected systems.
• Verified requests and ownership checks for relevant licensing and Free-action operations.
• Rate limits, security logs and abuse-prevention controls.
• Protected credentials and restricted access to private backups.
• Integrity and content checks for protected plugin releases and downloads.

Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights to:

• Request access to information held about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion, subject to applicable exceptions.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a portable copy of eligible information.
• Withdraw consent for processing based on consent.
• Raise a privacy complaint with us or a competent authority where applicable.

Withdrawing optional email consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. It also does not remove your purchased rights. If you stop providing information necessary for a particular service, that service may no longer be available.

We may need proportionate information to verify a request and protect account ownership. We respond according to applicable requirements and explain relevant exceptions where we cannot fulfill a request.

International users and data transfers

Wire MCP is operated by Websoft Global IT Services in India. Our providers and connected services may process information in other countries, depending on their infrastructure and the services you use.

Those countries may have different data-protection laws. International transfers remain subject to applicable requirements, including appropriate contractual or other safeguards where required. Contact us if you need further information about a particular service or transfer.

Children's privacy

Wire MCP is intended for website owners, developers, freelancers, agencies and other users able to enter into the applicable service agreement. It is not directed to children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without any consent or authorization required by applicable law, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers, data practices or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest published revision.

Where a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required. Updating this policy does not automatically change your recorded optional email preference.

Do not include passwords, private keys, full payment-card details or unnecessary customer information. We may request additional verification through an appropriate channel.
